About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Intern to join our team at Hitachi Vantara Manufacturing, Inc. The successful candidate will work under the direction of a QA Manager to connect and extract useful quality information from various data sources and structures. They will develop analytical methods and models for process quality control and contribute to product testing improvements through analysis of failure trends and field returns.

Requirements

• Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering background.
• Experience in Database Design, Optimization and Analysis of Data.
• Basic Programming Skills.
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Programming Development Environment and Tools.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work at least 20 hours per week during school months and 40 hours per week during the summer months.

Responsibilities

• Assist with technical studies and use case options for AI + HI application in Quality Data Management.
• Work with Engineering to implement Mistake Proofing Methodology.
• Participate in Quality Investigation, Root Cause Analysis, and Continuous Improvement.
