About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Engine Center in Bridgeport, WV as a Quality Assurance (QA) Coordinator. In this role, you will review, analyze, and interpret quality data to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements for the overhaul and repair of gas turbine engines. You will be responsible for maintaining and validating all QA documentation, including engine service bulletin compliance, logbook entries, and work order history files. This role also supports documentation requests related to prior engine shop visits. Success in this position requires a strong understanding of engine operation, assembly, testing, and component repair processes within a regulated environment. This role will train on 1st shift for a minimum of six (6) months. Upon completion of training, the primary schedule will be Monday-Thursday from 3:30pm-1:30am. Pratt & Whitney in Bridgeport, WV is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree (AAS) or other post high-school training and a minimum of 6 years of experience working within a quality management system in an aerospace environment (e.g., QA Analyst, QA Coordinator, Quality Inspector).
  • Active FAA Powerplant License or the ability to obtain a Repairmen Certificate for Inspection.
  • Must be able to pass a vision screening.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in dimensional and/or visual inspection of engine parts or components
  • Previous experience with the repair, inspection, assembly, or test of turbo prop and/or turbo fan engine models
  • Prior or current Return to Service Authority
  • Bi-Lingual proficiency in Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Perform engine and module Return to Service (RTS) activities and incoming check-in inspections in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Review incoming engine records and documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to maintenance activity.
  • Verify proper incorporation and compliance with Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and Service Bulletins (SBs).
  • Validate part and engine life-limited data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and finalize engine Return to Service documentation.
  • Ensure all required inspection, repair, overhaul, and test documentation is complete and compliant with applicable specifications.
  • Maintain accurate and audit-ready quality records in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits as required.
