About The Position

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer with a keen eye for detail. This role requires a detail-oriented mindset capable of identifying small variances and defects that others might miss. The engineer will be responsible for detecting, tracking, reporting, and communicating test defects effectively. A strong understanding of desktop and mobile web-application testing is essential, along with experience in AWS cloud environments and source code version control using git.

Requirements

• At least one (1) year working with AWS cloud environments.
• At least two (2) years of experience with QA automation and programming.
• The ability to write automated tests using Ruby, Java, or Python.
• Significant experience with Bash and SQL.
• Comprehensive knowledge of desktop and mobile web-application testing.
• At least a working knowledge of source code version control with git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to liaise and collaborate with Contractor staff, COR, and other vendors or stakeholders.
• A collaborative, congenial, responsive, and helpful nature.

Nice To Haves

• QA Automation experience alone is not sufficient.
• A detail-oriented mindset and the ability to catch small details that others, even developers, miss are required.
