Quality Assurance Manager
About The Position
Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to work for our company. The client agency is the Defense Logistics Agency. This role requires experience in quality assurance and quality control of IT Systems, including verification and validation, software testing and integration, and software metrics. The manager must be capable of establishing a process for evaluating software and associated documentation, determining resources for IT quality control, and maintaining quality throughout the software lifecycle. Responsibilities include developing software quality assurance plans, conducting formal and informal reviews, applying subject matter knowledge to high-level analysis and development, and resolving complex technical problems.
Requirements
- Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC). (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
- Five (5) years relevant experience.
- Experience in quality assurance and quality control of IT Systems.
- Experience in verification and validation, software testing and integration, and software metrics, and their application to software quality control.
- Oral presentation experience and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and establish a process for evaluating software and associated documentation.
- Determine the resources required for information technology quality control.
- Maintain the level of quality throughout the software lifecycle.
- Develop software quality assurance plans.
- Conduct formal and informal reviews at predetermined points throughout the development lifecycle.
- Apply subject matter knowledge to high level analysis, design, development, modeling, simulation, integration, installation, documentation and implementation.
- Resolve problems, which require an intimate knowledge of the related technical subject matter.
- Apply principles and methods of the subject matter to specialized solutions, including environmental, scientific, maintenance and repair processes, and logistical support activities.
