About The Position

Aero Instruments and Avionics, Inc. is an FAA Certified Repair Station specializing in the repair and overhaul of aircraft instruments, and avionics. We are currently looking to hire a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for assisting the Quality Department with all necessary tasks related to quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and/or product quality control.

Requirements

High school diploma required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
Highly self-motivated, with strong organizational and time-management abilities to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines.
Ability to interpret, analyze, and apply complex written information.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate situations, identify solutions, and make sound decisions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Ability to function well in a highly regulated and detail-oriented environment.
This position is considered a safety sensitive position based on FAA regulations.
This position will require a pre-employment and random drug screenings in accordance with FAA regulations.

Nice To Haves

Experience with ERP System, Quantum preferred.
Aerospace, automotive or electronics experience preferred but not required.
Knowledge in the testing and repair of aircraft avionic equipment and instrumentation is preferred but not required.
Experience in quality, both assurance and control, of a 14 CFR Part 145 FAA. approved repair station is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Manage Internal recurrent training schedule, content, and documentation.
Documenting damaged items on receipt.
Manage external and internal auditing.
Assisting with the verification of current technical publications.
Review and maintain regulatory documents or materials for compliance.
Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
