With locations in 15 countries across Europe, North America and Asia, Daher designs and develops value-added solutions for its aeronautical and industrial customers and partners Daher/Kodiak Aircraft is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead and continuously improve our Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with aerospace regulatory requirements and internal standards. This role is essential to ensuring product conformity, airworthiness, and operational excellence across both manufacturing and aircraft assembly operations. The Quality Assurance Manager serves as a key liaison with regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders, driving a strong quality culture while supporting safe, compliant, and efficient production.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Quality Manager within the aerospace industry.
  • Expert knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), including Parts 21, 145, and 43, and applicable guidance materials.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, including implementation and maintenance.
  • Proven experience conducting and managing AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 audits.
  • In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations related to aerospace manufacturing, production, and quality systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present information effectively to internal leadership, suppliers, and FAA representatives.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities in complex, non-standardized environments.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure company products and components comply with FAA-approved Type Design, are airworthy, and are in a condition for safe operation upon release into service.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Lead internal audits and support external audits, certifications, and FAA regulatory oversight.
  • Represent the Quality Department to external entities, including FAA-MIDO and other regulatory agencies, as required.
  • Participate in the Company Accident Response Team, leading internal investigations in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Conduct Quality Engineering reviews of design documentation, vendor quality manuals, and internal quality records to ensure compliance with defined requirements.
  • Communicate critical quality issues, risks, and corrective actions to the management team in a clear and timely manner.
  • Support the development and delivery of quality assurance training programs, collaborating with department leaders to reinforce accountability for quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and related methodologies.
  • Promote and embed a strong quality-focused culture across all production and support functions.
