The Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing quality control systems to ensure that products and processes meet or exceed established standards. This role involves directing and planning all Quality functions, promoting a Quality-first culture, and managing customer requirements and metrics. The position also entails managing the costs associated with Quality Metrics, providing technical support, overseeing department outputs and staffing, and ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications. Key responsibilities include preparing quality documentation, managing certifications and audits, maintaining a dashboard of performance metrics, developing a Quality Improvement roadmap, leading Quality Problem Solving training, facilitating process improvement projects, and collaborating with Scheduling and Operations on plans and strategies. The role also involves the analysis of operational KPIs, resolving customer complaints, and ensuring compliance with company, ISO 9001, and government procedures.
