About The Position

Ferguson is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Fulton Pipe Yard team! This position is responsible for metrics, tracking and reporting, ensuring that processes are followed, and deadlines met, and implementing strategies in support of meeting company-wide goals. Requirements

  • 2+ years management experience coordinating a team of 3 or more
  • ISO90000 implementation experience is required
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including significant Excel skills
  • Prior experience writing SOPs, processes and procedures
  • Previous experience with report writing, analytics and crafting power point presentations
  • Strong working knowledge of Order Manager
  • Analytical, quick problem-solving skills
  • Data entry experience
  • Ability to optimally communicate with vendors via email whose primary language is not English
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining accurate records of defective product.
  • Completing follow ups with the Suppliers to ensure they are working quickly to resolve the product defect issues.
  • Acquiring replacement parts to resolve product defect issues prior to them occurring.
  • Working with the warehouse team to reduce unavailable product.
  • Ensure associates leading activity within their assigned area are knowledgeable with regards to the requirements of the Quality Management.
  • Responsible for handling data regarding consolidated quality metrics.
  • Participate in quality audits as needed.
  • Responsible for inventory accuracy and reconciliation
  • Maintains the configuration and product file for the facility
