About The Position

We’re looking for a Lead Quality Assurance Technician who’s ready to step into a key role supporting our commitment to safe, consistent, high‑quality products. In this position, you’ll work closely with our Quality Assurance Supervisor and Shift Supervisor to keep daily operations running smoothly. You’ll be a go‑to resource for your team—coaching, coordinating, problem‑solving, and ensuring our standards are met with care and consistency.

Requirements

A high school diploma (or equivalent) plus technical training in microbiology or chemistry
At least five years of experience working with products, equipment, and production processes
Strong communication skills and the ability to train, guide, and motivate others
A working knowledge of water treatment processes
A proactive mindset and a commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.

Applicants must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

Responsibilities

Inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting complex product quality issues
Coordinating and assigning daily tasks to QA staff, ensuring clarity and efficiency
Training and mentoring team members while monitoring performance
Pitching in wherever needed—whether it’s rework, cleaning, or improvement projects
Documenting issues, solutions, and shift‑to‑shift communication
Maintaining lab equipment, chemical inventory, and supply orders
Supporting system evaluations and recommending improvements
Inspecting and testing water treatment systems
Maintaining a clean, safe workspace and upholding GMP, HACCP, and sanitation standards
Monitoring and maintaining wastewater treatment
Communicating effectively with supervisors and managers across the plant
Stepping in to perform technician or blender duties when needed
