About The Position

NETZSCH Pumps & Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team in Exton, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards through rigorous inspection and testing processes. This includes troubleshooting motors and motor controllers, setting up and operating machinery for trial runs to verify accuracy, and verifying conformance of finished workpieces to specifications. You will also verify dimensions and alignment of assemblies, confer with engineering and production personnel regarding non-conformances, and maintain certificates of conformance requirements. The role involves final inspection approval or rejection of finished products, writing reports of examinations, and maintaining inspection records. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and continuing review of a coherent quality assurance program in conjunction with management staff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Knowledge of electrical wiring.
  • Experience using standard electrical tools for wiring of motors.
  • Experience using standard measuring tools such as tape measures.
  • Ability to perform standard shop calculations and knowledge of technical math.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Basic electrical wiring understanding.
  • Knowledge how to safely isolate power in a wet environment.
  • Ability to connect and run variable frequency drives.
  • Ability to connect power to motors and motor controllers.
  • Ability to read and fully understand blueprints.
  • Ability to bend conduit by hand or with hand bending tools.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot motors and motor controllers.
