About The Position

The QA inspector on each shift is directly responsible for dimensional aspects and parts manufactured, whether accepted or rejected, on their individual shifts. Requirements

  • Familiar with the JDE system and DSI functions

Responsibilities

  • Understand and practice Safety Absolutes and Safety policies.
  • Use proper lifting when spot-checking inventory. Get help if needed.
  • Communicate quality issues discovered to the other shifts verbally and emails.
  • Fill out the Quality Assurance Daily Reports.
  • Verify all information on the traveler.
  • Check the colors using the Densitometer, color chips, drawdowns, Chroma QA, pantone.
  • Verify bar code scans and Chroma QA reading when applicable.
  • Perform required testing where applicable.
  • Notify Tech and QA Manager of defects, size problems or color variances in print found on product using the NCMR database.
  • Watch and accept samples being ran on the production floor.
  • Clarify acceptable quality standards for packers.
  • Route all papers to be filed into appropriate folders or files.
  • Verify tri folders. Update, approve, and / or create new when applicable.
  • Check for coining of lids, nest / denesting of containers before, during and after packaging.
  • Any special tasks as assigned by Manager.
