About The Position
This role involves pipe inspection, including in-process, in-bound, and final inspections of manufactured products. The primary goal is to ensure compliance with quality standards, owner specifications, and ABS and/or USCG requirements.
Requirements
- High School diploma
- 5-10 years of broad shipyard experience in various craft areas
Nice To Haves
- Certification in quality control
Responsibilities
- Inspects parts, products and or processes to insure conformance with standards, specifications or regulations.
- Conducts tests to verify specified dimensions, strengths and other quality factors using measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
- Completes inspection records and reports.
- Sets up inspections by ABS and U.S. Coast Guard based on regulations.
