About The Position

Scribe’s desktop app and browser extensions are mission-critical surfaces used by millions of people every day. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in increasing our delivery speed while ensuring a high bar for quality across Mac, Windows, Chrome, and Edge. Your work will directly enable faster, more reliable releases that power how teams document and scale their workflows. As a Senior QA Engineer at Scribe, you will take ownership of quality across our desktop and browser extension platforms. These environments are core to our product experience, and your work will ensure we can ship quickly without compromising reliability. You’ll partner closely with engineering, product, and design to define and execute testing strategies that scale with our growth. This role goes beyond traditional QA—you’ll help shape processes, introduce automation where it matters most, and bring structure to how we validate across multiple platforms and release channels. We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and understands the nuances of shipping across operating systems and browser ecosystems. You’ll also have the opportunity to step into a technical leadership role, mentoring others and potentially managing QA engineers, including a distributed team based in Serbia.

  • Demonstrated leadership—whether through mentoring, driving initiatives, or managing teams.
  • Excited about the opportunity to manage and grow QA engineers, including distributed teams.
  • Pride in raising the quality bar and enabling teams to ship with confidence.
  • Must live permanently in the United States.
