We’re looking for Quality Assurance (QA) Engineering interns to join us at Hudl’s Headquarters in Lincoln, Nebraska. As a QA Engineering intern, you’ll support our commitment to delivering exceptional software. In this role, you’ll be the user before the user—you’ll be responsible for manual and automated testing, designing test plans and documenting the evolution of our web and mobile features.

Requirements

  • A current degree-seeking student in computer science, software engineering or computer engineering.
  • Passion for software and fascination with cutting-edge hardware.
  • Natural curiosity and a tendency to ask questions and dig deeper into problems.
  • Empathy to critically think about the experience of coaches, athletes, or recruiters and understand their perspective when using Hudl.
  • Team-oriented with experience or comfort working on a team over multiple weeks.
  • Coding experience using languages such as Python, Javascript, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestRail, Jira, etc.
  • Experience writing manual and automated tests across the testing pyramid (e.g., smoke testing, regression testing).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure holistic quality by identifying and assessing edge-cases while owning quality end-to-end.
  • Use AI-powered and conventional tooling to monitor, diagnose, and evaluate quality during development and once features are live.
  • Act as the gatekeeper for the production environment, determining the deployment readiness of features.
  • Work alongside Engineers, Designers and Product Managers to set the gold standard of quality assurance.
