About The Position

This role focuses on designing, developing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated test cases and scripts. The Quality Assurance Engineer will perform various types of testing including functional, regression, API, performance, integration, and exploratory testing. A key aspect of the role involves developing automated tests using technologies such as Playwright, TypeScript, Java, k6, MCP, and AI-assisted testing. The engineer will translate business and functional requirements into detailed test scenarios and cases, and design/maintain reusable, scalable automation frameworks. Integration with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems is also a significant part of the responsibilities. The role requires strong debugging skills using various diagnostic tools and analyzing defects to determine root causes. Identifying quality risks early in the SDLC and developing mitigation strategies is crucial. Performance testing scenario design, execution of predefined and exploratory tests, and working with databases for data validation are also key duties. The engineer will also be involved in test data management, using tools like Zephyr Scale and GitLab, and continuously improving QA processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and business stakeholders, is essential. The position also includes other duties as assigned.
