About The Position
TEL Technology Center of America LLC, a subsidiary of Tokyo Electron Limited, a global, multi- billion-dollar corporation and a leader in the semiconductor equipment industry, is seeking software engineering intern candidates. Tokyo Electron markets a wide range of semiconductor production equipment (SPE) products and provides outstanding service and support to semiconductor device manufacturers. TEL's world-renowned products and technologies support diverse customer needs for the manufacturing of increasingly sophisticated semiconductors. TEL is looking for an undergraduate or graduate student intern in the field of software engineering, usability studies, to help roll out a TEL internal software system.
Requirements
- The candidate should be pursuing a B.S. or M.S. degree in software engineering
- Experience with Agile Project managements
- Experience with user stories
- Experience with software development
- UI/UX Design Principles know how
- Testing- QA experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and low code platforms is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Capture software requirements
- Build user stories
- Test requirements
- Execute test plans and perform manual testing on various applications to ensure correct implementations
- Actively engage in meetings with users and third-party vendors to drive implementation
