AS AN INTERN You’ll gain hands-on experience from day one and be encouraged to contribute ideas, take ownership of tasks, and support data-driven decision-making through meaningful analysis that is used at scale. English is our working language, and you will work closely with experienced analysts and engineers in a collaborative team environment. This is a 6‑month paid internship focused on practical experience, learning on the job, and close collaboration with the team. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL Support quality assurance activities across the full testing lifecycle for Mercedes-Benz digital products. Help execute functional and non-functional tests on web-based applications, ensuring reliable and consistent behaviour. Collaborate within a cross-functional team (including frontend, backend, QA, DevOps, product, and design) on quality-related tasks and improvements. Learn and apply DevOps principles to contribute to integration, regression, and automated testing activities within the team. Participate in team discussions to identify quality risks and solve testing challenges in practical and efficient ways. Support test design activities, including the creation and maintenance of test cases and test scenarios. Contribute to the quality of our products by documenting test results, reporting defects, and supporting test automation efforts under guidance.

Requirements

  • To have recently completed a BSc or MSc in a computer science related field and be available to start a voluntary paid internship for 6 months in July.
  • To have basic knowledge of software testing concepts and methodologies, such as functional and integration testing.
  • To have basic knowledge of programming or web technologies such as Java, JavaScript, HTML, or CSS.
  • To understand the fundamentals of the software development lifecycle and the role of quality assurance within it
  • To have willingness to learn from a multidisciplinary and multicultural team.

Responsibilities
