About The Position

Build the Market Leader in Satellite Analytics with us at LiveEO. You will work on applications that use deep learning and satellite data to help companies and governments fight deforestation, monitor critical infrastructure, and respond faster and more precisely to natural disasters. Our aim is to empower any user in the world to harness the power of earth observation satellites to simplify and improve their daily work. As a full-stack engineer on our product team you will own large topics end-to-end — from early design through production. Concretely, that means handling large volumes of geospatial information efficiently in both browser and backend, solving graph problems in the database with carefully crafted queries, and building robust integrations with the growing number of third-party consumers of our services. You will refactor existing systems where needed and build greenfield applications where the problem demands it.

Requirements

• Strong TypeScript and React (VueJS or Preact also fine)
• Backend experience with NestJS, Express, or Node.js
• Experience with CI/CD and modern software architecture practices
• Hands-on familiarity with agentic coding setups - you've used AI-assisted workflows in your actual day-to-day, not just experimented

Nice To Haves

• Experience with spec-driven or test-driven agentic development
• Web-based geospatial / GIS development
• A sense for design and UX — enough to handle smaller design decisions autonomously

Responsibilities

• Build and extend features end-to-end handling large volumes of geospatial data with great UX and design
• Construct well-designed and performant APIs and backend services for 3rd-party partners and customers
• Work in cross-functional teams on large topics from very early on.
• Understand the domain and own features from initial idea to continuous monitoring and incident response
