About The Position

iCapital is looking to hire a Quality Assurance Analyst to join the Structured Investments and Annuities team. This individual plays an integral role in the success of Hexure by iCapital products by ensuring the quality and reliability of software delivered to clients across all platforms. This role will design and execute test plans and test cases to validate adherence to specified requirements, and perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing using a combination of manual and automated approaches to validate end-to-end system performance. This individual will also support external clients through their testing cycles by providing detailed release notes with every delivery, triaging reported issues, and engaging with clients to resolve system discrepancies as needed.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in software quality assurance, application testing, or a related technology background
  • Familiar with the software development life cycle
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with a test automation platform (i.e. Selenium, Playwright, or similar) is a plus
  • Comfort using AI-assisted tools such as Copilot or generative test generation to improve testing efficiency is a plus
  • Life insurance and annuities proficiency preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Database team to sync and update databases as required for deployments and testing.
  • Execute production deployments in accordance with change management processes and ensure successful implementation.
  • Provide accurate estimates for Change Management Requests (CMRs) and assess potential risks and impacts.
  • Review requirements documentation to develop a thorough understanding of project scope and testing objectives.
  • Create and maintain test plans and test cases designed to offer adequate test coverage and minimize escaped defects.
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance matrices of test coverage and slippage ratios, and other pertinent quality metrics.
  • Follow established quality control processes, test execution methods and standards to identify, analyze, and document issues, bugs, defects, and other problems.
  • Complete full regression testing and analyze test results.
  • Manage code and data migrations across multiple testing and production environments.
  • Conduct smoke and sanity testing following each build or deployment to verify baseline system stability before broader test execution.
  • Monitor the defect tracking system daily and partner with the development team to drive timely resolution of identified issues.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives; provide regular testing status updates to the team and stakeholders.
