About The Position

Yulista Solutions LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer (Advanced) to provide technical expertise across the program acquisition life cycle in quality, mission assurance, and manufacturing to the government for assigned MDA programs. The role involves implementing MDA quality and mission assurance requirements by providing subject matter expertise for the identification, evaluation, and mitigation of risks associated with the design, development, manufacturing, fielding, and operation of MDA systems. The primary governing document is the MDA Assurance Provisions (MAP), a standardized set of 14 QSMA provisions, requirements, and processes for mission and safety-critical items. This document provides a methodology to measure, confirm, and validate mission success through metrics collection and analysis, risk assessment, technical evaluations, independent assessments, reviews, testing, and continuous process improvement to reduce cost, improve productivity, and institute QSMA. The engineer will assist in reviewing and assessing hardware and software compliance with quality and related mission assurance requirements, including support for failure investigations, failure review boards, evaluations, and audits. Activities include determining the root cause of failures in MDA hardware. The role also requires providing technical and data management expertise for quality and mission assurance boards, working groups, and reviews, such as technical and mission reviews, pedigree reviews, first article inspections, and risk working groups. Responsibilities include preparing draft documents, briefs, presentations, and action item responses, and providing weekly status reports. Periodic travel, approximately twice per quarter, is expected. The position is located at the MDA facility in Huntsville, AL, with an expectation to work onsite at least 2 days per week, with potential for additional onsite days as MDA transitions back to full-time work. Telework from home is authorized when not required to be onsite.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Professional engineering from a school of engineering Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology, Inc. (ABET) accredited as professional engineering curriculum.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in a related field.
  • Must have experience supporting/running Failure Review Boards, executing FRACAS process and knowledge of Reliability programs supporting quality and mission assurance.
  • Experience in Quality and in implementing quality practices and quality oversight.
  • Experience in assisting in the formulation of opinions, decisions for quality and mission assurance practices.
  • Experience in assessing advanced systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration.
  • Security Clearance requirements: Secret clearance.
