About The Position

As a member of our US Quality Assurance Team, your primary responsibility will be to support the brand and compliance audit process to ensure that we are best in class, provide training and support in accident and incident investigations, all to help drive forward continuous improvement. You will be on the front line, ensuring our business continues to operate safely, responsibly and to our brand standards. This role reports to our US Senior QA Manager and the function sits within the global compliance and safety family. The role will require travel as necessary across our US stores in New York City, Washington DC, Boston, Los Angeles, and more.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in hospitality/retail/consumer brand in undertaking audits and training
  • Be practical, organized and have good written and verbal communication skills
  • 'Get things done' mindset - happy to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in
  • Be detail orientated, being able to interpret data to provide clear and concise recommendations for improvement and have a natural tenacity to drive change
  • Be adaptable and flexible, comfortable working some evenings/weekends, and ready to travel to our regional stores where the business needs you the most.

  • Required to be based in New York or consider relocating

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with US food safety and health code frameworks (e.g. NYC DOHMH, Boston BPHC, DC Health) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Independently run Quality Control and Quality Assurance audits across US stores to the highest standard
  • Coach and prepare store teams to consistently pass DOH inspections with top scores
  • Lead incident and accident investigations, identifying root causes and developing corrective action plans to prevent recurrence
  • Drive compliance with company policies, food safety, health & safety, and regulatory requirements to maintain consistently high operational standards.
  • Provide coaching and field training to help drive continuous improvement
  • Support the development and implementation of business SOPs to foster operational excellence
  • Ensure all SOPs are up to date and easy to understand
  • Provide succinct and accurate reports on key KPIs
  • Support in the production of risk assessments and other key compliance documentation
  • Audit external Mystery Shopper scores regularly to make sure they are reliable and uphold to our standards
