About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a QA Automation Engineer for a 12+ month contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX. This role is responsible for testing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business outcomes. The ideal candidate will ensure software meets functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements through comprehensive testing within an Agile environment. This is an individual contributor role with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software testing
• Proven experience in UI and API test automation with Java using Selenium and RestAssured
• Experience handling Jenkins along with GitHub/BitBucket
• Experienced in Agile methodologies
• Experience with Jira

• Experience with performance testing

Responsibilities

• Test and deliver complex software requirements to accomplish business outcomes
• Ensure software meets functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements
• Condition and generate test data, building and executing both manual and automated test suites
• Communicate test results and assist with defect triage
• Lead test planning and case reviews, collaborating with subject matter experts
• Create and manage traceability throughout the development lifecycle
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks and identify automation opportunities
• Execute manual and automated tests, reporting issues and defects
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
