About The Position

Velera is seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant (Client Delivery Experience) to join their team. This remote role is responsible for project review, functional testing, audit, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) support for the business unit. The consultant will interact with various business unit resources, examine project artifacts, and develop, curate, implement, and execute testing templates. They will also be involved in RCA to review and document issues and support internal and external audit requests.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Systems or Business Management preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Three (3) years related experience required.
Functional understanding of credit/debit card processing in general and Fiserv processing platforms.
Three (3) years project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with project managers and project analysts to review project requirements and artifacts to ensure effective traceability from requirements through project delivery.
Perform functional testing based on test scripts developed in collaboration with project delivery teams.
Assist project delivery teams to understand when and where defects are found.
Collect and document testing results and provide information back to project managers and project analysts.
Compile and produce testing result metrics for CDE leadership.
Address requests from internal sources to perform root cause analysis on issues identified during and after project deliveries.
Organize communications and meetings across CDE and other groups to document and communicate RCA findings.
Support the execution of thorough internal and external audits for the business unit, identifying any discrepancies, inefficiencies, or non-compliance issues.
Ensure that audit recommendations are implemented effectively and within a timely manner. Monitor progress and report on the status of corrective actions.
Identify and assess risks related to project delivery and operations and develop strategies to mitigate these risks through robust governance and audit practices.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
