About The Position

We’re looking for a Quality Assurance & Compliance Coordinator who takes pride in precision, accountability, and doing things the right way, every time. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured environments, spots gaps before they become problems, and is motivated by ensuring vulnerable populations receive safe, high-quality care. This is a hands-on, highly visible role where you’ll be embedded in daily operations not behind a desk.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social services, public administration, or related field
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Experience monitoring compliance, quality assurance, or program operations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Confidence in coaching staff and reinforcing accountability
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, case management systems)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in social services, residential programs, or behavioral health/SUD settings
  • Familiarity with Title 9 or DHCS licensing requirements
  • Background in quality assurance, audits, or regulatory compliance
  • Experience with medication monitoring/documentation
  • Professional licensure (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the on-the-ground compliance leader for residential programs, ensuring daily operations meet all licensing and regulatory standards.
  • Act as a primary liaison with licensing and regulatory agencies (including DHCS).
  • Conduct routine program walk-throughs, audits, and documentation reviews.
  • Ensure client records, incident reports, logs, and compliance documentation are accurate and audit-ready.
  • Oversee and monitor medication storage, logs, and administration practices.
  • Identify compliance gaps in real time and implement corrective actions.
  • Train, coach, and hold staff accountable to documentation and policy standards.
  • Support licensing inspections, audits, and corrective action plans.
  • Monitor staff credentials and personnel files for compliance.
  • Help maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic residential environment.
