About The Position

To complete various inspection and verification related tasks, such as: conducting audits, investigations, inspection, repairs, and filing reports related to the tasks. The goal is to identify, investigate, and inform.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented person with strong personal skills.
• An ability to detect and report non-conformances.
• Basic computer skills preferred
• High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required
• One year of work in a manufacturing facility (similar in size and scope to NSA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance inspections at various stages of the production process. Includes verifying incoming work bundles, visual quality inspections on finished garments and verifying special labeling and packaging requests.
• Take leadership and responsibility for determining compliance exceptions based on experience, product knowledge, and historical information.
• Reject work that does not meet NSA quality standards.
• Notify management of any non-conformances found with regard to quality, workmanship, and measurements.
• Offer new ideas (OFI’s) based on your textile education and/or previous work experience.
• Other tasks, as needed and determined by management to promote awareness, improvement, and organization.
