About The Position

CAPTRUST is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate who will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. The QA Associate will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics. This role includes participating in the software development life cycle (SDLC) and communicate with the Business Analysts and other project team members. This individual must be highly motivated, detailed oriented and continues to build our complete QA program that not only safeguards the quality of our software, but also foster a “quality culture” within the organization.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
  • Basic understanding of the SDLC and agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience writing SQL queries for data validation.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar agile project management tools.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics CRM or financial industry applications.
  • Knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts during sprint planning and refinement to ensure clear, testable requirements
  • Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases aligned with agile practices
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to provide QA insights and advocate for quality improvements
  • Track and report quality metrics, including defect trends and test coverage, using agile tools (e.g., Azure DevOps)
  • Document QA activities and maintain compliance with internal standards and audit requirements
  • Support continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines by validating builds and deployments
  • Pursue ongoing learning in agile testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and emerging QA tools
