About The Position

DaBella is a leading home improvement company dedicated to exceptional quality and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Assistant to join our team in Denver, CO. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their career in quality assurance within the construction industry. DaBella specializes in internal/external home improvement, including the full removal/replacement of roofing, siding, windows, gutters, and baths. We currently have over 67 locations in 27 states and are continuing to add additional locations every year. The Quality Assurance Assistant will support our QA team by ensuring that home improvement projects meet our high standards for quality and safety. This role involves observing construction practices, interacting with homeowners, and using various tools and systems to maintain compliance with project specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Observe construction activities to ensure compliance with permitting, lead-safe practices, product specifications, and building codes.
  • Prepare detailed field notes and reports.
  • Spend up to 50% of the day traveling to homeowners to discuss home improvement projects and inspections.
  • Address and resolve homeowner complaints, offering solutions that meet their needs.
  • Utilize basic equipment such as measuring tapes and ladders.
  • Review project documents, including contracts and program-built plans, to ensure records align with homeowner contractual requirements.
  • Use computer network drives (CRM), email (Outlook), and document management systems as required by the project.
  • Explain contracts and technical information to homeowners and subcontractors clearly and effectively.
  • Pursue additional certifications as assigned to enhance your skills and knowledge.
