The Quality Assurance and Improvement (“QA/I”) Medical Assistant performs functions within the organization to promote high quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care, including collaboration with the QA/I team on identifying and implementing Medical Assistant training and support methods. The QA/I Medical Assistant also serves as a key bridge between the QA/I department and clinical staff in the clinics, including providing support to clinic medical assistants, care navigators, front office representatives and other operations staff as appropriate and encouraging their participation in ongoing Quality Improvement programs.
