About The Position

We are seeking a QA Analyst/Engineer to join a large technology team supporting a federal client on a confidential, high-priority initiative. This remote contract role will work alongside a large team consisting primarily of developers and DevOps engineers. Specific project details will be shared with qualified candidates as the process advances. This role supports a confidential project; further details will be provided to qualified, vetted candidates as the process advances. Remote work with East Coast time zone overlap required. Contract duration anticipated at 6 months with potential extension.

Requirements

U.S. Citizenship required (no exceptions)
Solid QA experience testing web-based applications (front-end and back-end)
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
Availability to work East Coast time zone hours

Nice To Haves

Active or previous U.S. government security clearance
Prior experience working on U.S. government or federal contracts
Experience testing applications built on Angular, PHP, and/or Java
Familiarity with AI-assisted development/testing tools, particularly Claude
Experience working within larger team structures (20+ team members)

Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for full stack web applications
Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
Collaborate closely with developers and DevOps engineers to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle
Perform manual and/or automated testing as appropriate to the project
Participate in agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, and reviews
Communicate effectively with team members across East Coast working hours
