About The Position

We're looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Development team and play a critical role in delivering high-quality software that our clients depend on every day. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you'll work closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure our software products are reliable, intuitive, and ready for release.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, defect lifecycle management, and QA best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with a collaborative, team-first mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable: Payroll, HCM, HRIS, CRM, or business software applications
  • Agile/Scrum software development environments
  • Jira, Xray, Azure DevOps
  • SQL Server and SQL query writing
  • REST API testing using Postman or Swagger
  • Browser Developer Tools
  • IIS, Windows Server, and Web APIs
  • Test automation tools and frameworks
  • Git or Azure DevOps repositories
  • Test data creation and management
  • Reviewing application, web server, and system logs for troubleshooting
  • Responsive web application testing

Responsibilities

  • Review software requirements, technical specifications, and design documentation to develop effective testing strategies.
  • Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution.
  • Validate bug fixes and verify successful implementation prior to software releases.
  • Collaborate with Development and Product teams to improve software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Support business stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist with issue resolution.
  • Utilize browser developer tools, APIs, databases, and system logs to investigate software issues.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, functional reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate testing results and project status clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Recommend process improvements that enhance software quality and team efficiency.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
