About The Position

The Technology Organization’s Customer Engagement portfolio is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to support customer-facing web applications, internal tools, and APIs/middleware, including platforms such as the Property Manager Portal. This role is embedded within agile scrum teams and is responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery through a combination of manual testing, test automation, and proactive quality practices. Successful candidates bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to influence quality outcomes through early engagement and clear communication. This is a hybrid position with an expectation of working onsite (Atlanta or Birmingham) four days per week, with one remote day.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with emphasis in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related technology field
  • 2+ years of experience testing web applications and APIs
  • Experience with structured software testing methodologies
  • Experience with automated regression testing and application quality management tools
  • Experience writing or reviewing SQL queries for data validation
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, SAFe experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive quality mindset — identifies gaps and risks early
  • Meticulous attention to detail and documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile processes

  • Experience working with Oracle Utilities Customer to Meter (C2M) is a plus
  • Tricentis Tosca certifications (AS1 and AS2) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform as an embedded QA member within a SAFe Agile framework, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, PI objectives, and team-level quality outcomes
  • Design, execute, and document manual test cases for customer-facing web applications, internal tools, and APIs/middleware
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests as part of an established automation framework
  • Partner with Product Owners and Developers during backlog grooming and refinement to clarify requirements and define acceptance criteria
  • Perform regression testing, release validation, and UAT support for production deployments
  • Log, track, troubleshoot, and clearly document defects with sufficient detail to support efficient resolution
  • Validate data integrity and mine test data using SQL queries as part of functional and integration testing
  • Maintain testing artifacts and evidence to support traceability and quality validation
  • Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality concerns clearly and proactively
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices, tools, and processes
