About The Position

This is a high-visibility leadership role with direct influence on plant strategy and performance. The Quality and Risk Manager will have the opportunity to build and shape the entire Quality & EHS organization, with strong exposure to site and senior leadership. The role operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment focused on excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in manufacturing environments, preferably automotive or highly regulated industries.
  • Strong working knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and Quality Excellence Systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership in Quality, EHS, and Risk Management.
  • Experience leading audits, managing compliance, and driving systemic corrective actions.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and provide technical guidance to others.
  • Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to build organizations, processes, and systems from the ground up.
  • Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
  • Bachelors degree (Engineering, or related fields)

Responsibilities

  • Define and deploy the Quality, EHS, and Risk strategy, aligned with business objectives and customer expectations.
  • Act as the final decision authority on all quality and risk-related matters.
  • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System aligned with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and Excellence System requirements.
  • Lead quality targets, continuous improvement initiatives, and product safety programs.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and energy regulations, driving a strong safety culture across the plant.
  • Identify, assess, prioritize, and manage operational and enterprise risks.
  • Lead audits, corrective and preventive actions, and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Analyze and interpret quality, EHS, and operational data to drive decision-making.
  • Build, lead, coach, and develop Quality and EHS teams (including Quality Engineers and EHS Specialists).
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders, including customers and regulatory authorities.
  • Manage department budgets and report variances to senior leadership.
