About The Position

The Quality & Continuous Improvement Coordinator supports the execution of quality and continuous improvement initiatives across the Fort Myers facility. This role is responsible for coordinating internal audits, supporting site KPIs, and identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, product quality, and operational efficiency. This position is highly focused on Lean execution, data analysis, and shop-floor engagement, with active participation and facilitation of Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives across the Water Quality business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, quality, continuous improvement, or a related environment
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and common improvement tools
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification (minimum)
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an ISO-regulated manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with quality audits, PFMEA, or control plans
  • Experience with Dozuki or digital work instruction systems
  • Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Minitab)

  • Experience in mentoring or training technical personnel

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute internal quality audits, track non-conformances, and support closure of corrective and preventive actions
  • Support audit readiness, documentation control, SOP updates, and updates to PFMEA and Control Plans with cross-functional teams
  • Identify and support execution of process improvement opportunities aligned with site KPIs (FPY, scrap, rework, throughput)
  • Facilitate and support Kaizen events, including planning, execution, and sustainment tracking
  • Apply Lean tools such as 5S, standard work, visual management, and waste reduction; support Tier board structure and KPI visibility
  • Collect, analyze, and report manufacturing and quality data, maintaining KPI dashboards and communicating trends and improvement opportunities
  • Utilize tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar for data analysis and reporting
  • Support and participate in root cause investigations (5 Whys, Fishbone, A3, 8D) and track actions through completion and effectiveness
  • Support Dozuki work instruction validation, including operator walkthroughs, gap identification, and updates to standard work, visual aids, and training materials
  • Assist in implementing error-proofing (poka-yoke) concepts within processes and documentation
  • Support training on Continuous Improvement fundamentals, assist in development of Blue Belt candidates, and promote CI culture across the site
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives across the Water Quality business and support cross-functional and corporate CI events
  • Lead and support cross-functional continuous improvement projects across all departments to drive measurable improvements in site KPIs
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and other teams to identify, prioritize, plan, and execute improvement initiatives aligned with business objectives
  • Support and lead project management activities, including defining scope, tracking progress, communicating results, and ensuring accountability and sustainment of KPI improvements
  • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the Quality and Sustaining Engineer Manager or Company management.
