About The Position

Leidos Mission Assurance is seeking a talented Quality Analyst to join our Space Systems team in Huntsville, AL. Primary responsibilities will be with the Wide Field of View (WFOV) program which is an optical payload on a missile warning and tracking satellite. You will play a critical role in ensuring mechanical and electrical spaceflight hardware meets all requirements. Work is primarily first shift, Monday-Friday. Primary Responsibilities: The Quality Analyst will work cross-functionally with Quality Engineers, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Program Management to ensure product integrity and compliance throughout the lifecycle. Gather manufacturing and supplier pedigree documentation for presentation to the end customer in accordance with the contract statement of work and CDRL. Generate/prepare AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) Maintain database for final Acceptance Data Packages. Upload and maintain pedigree files. Ensure quality note flow downs to suppliers are supported. Ensure adherence to AS9100, customer, and regulatory requirements across the program. Support the resolution and documentation of non-conformances and root cause investigations. Participate in internal and 3rd party audits. Quality duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Candidate must have Bachelor degree with 2-4 years experience
  • Candidate must have experience in basic Microsoft modules
  • Candidate must be a resident of, or willing to relocate to, the Huntsville, AL area.
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant experience with quality control in an ISO9001/AS9100 system or equivalent experience in DOD, Aerospace, or manufacturing quality control.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma
  • Knowledge of Problem Solving / Root Cause Methodology
  • Experience compiling End Item Data Packages
