Requirements

  • 2+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (6+ years)
  • In-depth knowledge of business information systems
  • General knowledge of quality management system
  • Ability to apply basic problem-solving skills
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret written procedures
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and report data to assist continuous improvement team and management in assessing measures of performance
  • Conduct time studies and analyze data to support standards
  • Design shop / visual aid tooling to assist production.
  • Coordinate layout and work station move activities. Support time estimates for proposed projects and evaluates time factors.
  • Support projects and processes that ensure continuously improving value to our customers and business units
  • Create organizational value by implementing innovative solutions and best practices involved in all processes of the product realization value stream
  • Assist continuous improvement team with data mining, reporting and analysis
  • Observe and identify process improvement opportunities to continuous improvement
  • Verify process control activities and reports deficiencies as appropriate
  • Initiate quality alerts for potential process and product discrepancies that may affect performance
  • Conduct audits and issues reports as a lead auditor
  • Assist with root cause analysis investigations and corrective action development
  • Investigate internal audit-related findings and helps coordinate activities to resolve issues
  • Support the administration of the Quality Management System Documentation and Record Control processes
  • May prepare and present data in management-level presentations
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
