Requirements

  • Active DOD Secret Security Clearance, ability to obtain special program access
  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience; at least one year of experience generating, reviewing FAIs or internal auditing.
  • Experience with M.S. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, DISCUS
  • Active DOD Secret Security Clearance, ability to obtain special program access
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience and 3 years of experience generating, reviewing FAIs or internal auditing and special program access.
  • Experience with M.S. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, DISCUS
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for most positions.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.

  • Active DOD Secret Security Clearance was last investigated within 2 years, and special program access.

  • Prior manufacturing experience
  • Ability to read and interpret GD&T drawings
  • Knowledge of Inspection Plans and First Article Inspections

Responsibilities

  • Creating, completing, and reviewing First Article Inspections, includes presentations to the customer
  • Evaluating the model and parts list to generate FAI using DISCUS software
  • Coordinating and facilitating internal audits including special process audits, FOE/FOD audits, and other internal audits as directed by the management team
  • Identify major findings, minor findings, opportunities for improvement and observations, and report information to the process owner
  • Support internal audits, process observations, and area assessments
  • Lead data collection and analysis
  • Supports the Program, Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams with data analytics for improvement processes
  • Authoring documentation to instruct operations on the successful execution of quality requirements
  • Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships across functions, programs, customers, program management, and other support organizations
  • Work with the Engineering team to ensure that part requirements are correctly described and documented in the production work plans
  • Participate with corrective action or improvement teams and promote the use of data to assist in the improvement effort
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and maintain pace of work
