Leidos’ Platform Integration Facility is seeking a Quality Inspector with Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) and portable arm experience to join our team. This position will be responsible for verifying machined, fabricated and assembled hardware meet specified drawing/CAD model requirements using CMM / Portable Arm, Hand Measuring Tools and Gages. Applicant must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Will be required to work closely with engineers to understand requirements and interpret data. Position Description Leidos’ Platform Integration Facility is seeking a talented & skilled Quality Analyst, to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions. Leidos is involved in multiple contracts to provide hardware and systems for high energy weapons, launchers, Hypersonics, and target surrogates for several DoD customers. Basic Qualifications The Quality Analyst will support assembly Integration and testing for aerospace and defense manufacturing. Candidate will analyze program QA requirements, generate ballooned drawings and AS9102 Inspection forms from SolidWorks inspection, finalize source inspection checklist as needed, complete end item data packs for machined hardware.

Requirements

Candidate must possess a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of (2) years of experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 system or equivalent experience in DOD, Aerospace, or Automotive manufacturing quality control.
Experience using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBi, & Outlook) is preferred.
Candidate must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
The position requires candidates to be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.
Candidates must be a resident of North Alabama or willing to relocate to the area.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

Gather manufacturing and supplier pedigree documentation for presentation to the end customer in accordance with the contract statement of work and CDRL.
Prepare AS9102 FAI’s and PPAP documentation.
Maintain database for final data packages.
Upload and maintain classified pedigree files.
Ensure quality note flow downs to suppliers are supported.
AS9100 manufacturing practices.
Participate in internal and 3rd party audits.
Candidate must have experience working with non-conforming material & identifying root cause and implementing corrective action.
Must have experience writing work instructions, procedures, and implementing QMS documentation associated with AS9100.
Quality duties as assigned.
