Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Statistics or healthcare related field.
  • All licensed professionals must maintain their professional licenses and comply with all applicable recognitions/designations as defined by the respective Texas licensing/examining boards.
  • Minimum of three-years of experience working with data and reporting AND Minimum of three-years of experience in healthcare sector OR Minimum of three-years of experience in ambulatory performance improvement and/or healthcare quality.
  • Strong track-record delivering timely data reports in an easily accessible format to be utilized by funders and program leadership.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Candidates must have desire to work in a fast-paced heath care setting and ability to meet multiple deadlines consistently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, and ability to rapidly learn additional software systems as needed.
  • Experience in Power BI, Excel, and MS Office, including pivot tables, chart-making, and manipulation of large datasets.
  • Knowledge of electronic health records and data visualization software.
  • Knowledge or directly related experience in healthcare quality.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
  • Four years of experience with quality improvement, data collection, and regulatory compliance.
  • CPHQ Certified.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver engaging training materials for quality initiatives and workflows.
  • Develop and maintain Epic Reporting Workbench and SlicerDicer reports for various quality measures.
  • Support the creation of clinical quality dashboards and visual reports for informed decision-making.
  • Conduct root-cause analyses and trend reviews to identify performance gaps.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of reporting guides and training materials.
  • Train Legacy staff in quality concepts and measures to promote continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with operations and clinical teams to optimize data capture workflows.
  • Provide ad-hoc data support for various departments and grant-funded initiatives.
  • Liaise with external agencies and payors to support and refine quality initiatives.
  • Promote data literacy and maintain data integrity across reporting systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support our mission.
