About The Position

This candidate will be part of the NDT General FAB Inspection team. The role involves creating metrics to track Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) performance, critical throughput in each task center, and acceptance/rejection status of commodities. The candidate will provide daily, weekly, and monthly statistical data using HANA and multiple data sites, including Apriso, SFM, Tableau, and Oracle. Responsibilities include reviewing existing inspection requirements and acceptance rates for assembly and fabrication to develop inspection policies, working with planning and Floor QA to identify inspection points for potential reduction and optimization, and conducting analysis of inspection pass rates to adjust oversight levels. The role also provides Quality Assurance oversight for planning assurance inspections and supports multiple shifts and weekend activities, including direct support of hourly represented personnel. A Secret Clearance must be obtainable.

Requirements

  • Proficiency and analysis of Shop Floor Management (SFM) and experience with statistical methods and data analytics/data visualization programs e.g., Tableau, HANA, and Oracle, to provide statistical information for daily, weekly, and monthly metrics.
  • Experience with engineering drawing systems such as one of the following: Apriso, PDM, JDL, SFM, & QADs.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to navigate engineering specifications, drawings, work instructions, and other source data in order to develop written instruction.
  • Specific experience with LM Quality Assurance systems and engineering drawing systems including PDM, JDL, QADs, SFM, Apriso, and CAPP, desired.
  • Experience with locating and analysis of quality and operations data from SFM.
  • Experience with Business Objects using Tableau, HANA, and Oracle.
  • Familiarity with MS Excel statistical calculations and various analytical charting, RCCA (Root Cause and Corrective Action).
  • Experience reviewing and planning for inspection requirements.
  • Prior experience working in fabrication/production or Flightline environment.
  • Familiarity with Inspection Requirements flow from Quality Engineering to the Planning Manual into the Work Instructions.
