About The Position

The Quality Analyst Sr - Level 3 will coordinate production activity to represented personnel for daily assignments and routinely follow up as necessary to drive quality inspections. This role involves working with planning & Floor QA to identify inspection points for potential reduction and optimization. The candidate will conduct analysis of inspection pass rates and adjust oversight levels based on acceptance rates. Additionally, they will review existing inspection requirements and inspection acceptance rates for assembly and fabrication to assist in developing inspection policies. A Secret Clearance must be obtainable for this position. This role is based in Palmdale, CA. Requirements

  • Experience with engineering drawing systems such as one of the following: Apriso, PDM, JDL, SFM, VAS, & QADs.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to navigate engineering specifications, drawings, work instructions, and other source data to develop written instruction.
  • Specific experience with LM Quality Assurance systems and engineering drawing systems including PDM, JDL, QADs, SFM, Apriso, VAS, and CAPP, desired.
  • Experience with locating and analysis of quality and operations data from SFM.
  • Experience reviewing and planning for inspection requirements.
  • Prior experience working in fabrication/production or Flightline environment.
  • Prior interaction with union represented personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis of inspection pass rates and adjust oversight levels based on acceptance rates.
  • Review existing inspection requirements and inspection acceptance rates for assembly and fabrication to assist in developing inspection policies.
  • Work with hourly represented personnel to drive daily quality inspections and report performance data to manager, senor manager, and director.
  • Support multiple shift and weekend activities.
