About The Position

Lloyd Richards Personnel is seeking an experienced Quality Analyst / QC Inspector for a Tulsa-area manufacturing company. This position is a mix of ISO quality system work and hands-on inspection. The right candidate will spend part of their time maintaining ISO audits, system audits, documentation, training, corrective actions, and quality records, and the other part of their time performing hands-on inspection of manufactured parts. This is a strong opportunity for someone with manufacturing quality experience who understands ISO 9001, inspection tools, blueprints, and quality documentation.

Requirements

  • ISO 9001 experience required.
  • Manufacturing quality, quality inspection, or QC experience required.
  • Ability to perform hands-on inspection of manufactured parts.
  • Strong knowledge of inspection tools and measuring equipment.
  • Ability to read blueprints, prints, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Strong understanding of measurement conversions including decimals, fractions, angles, radiuses, mils, surface finishes, and gauges.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with welding, fit-up, machining, forming, assembly, stamping, powder coat, paint, or electroplating inspection preferred.
  • Experience with root cause analysis, corrective action, SPC, PDCA, or Lean preferred.
  • ASQ, Lean, Six Sigma, or quality auditor certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support ISO 9001 quality system requirements.
  • Prepare, perform, and report internal audits and system audits.
  • Assist with corrective action, root cause analysis, and preventive action.
  • Maintain documentation, training records, audit records, and quality reports.
  • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on raw materials, work-in-process, finished goods, and first article inspections.
  • Inspect parts involving welding, fit-up, machining, forming, assembly, stamping, powder coating, painting, and electroplating.
  • Read and interpret prints, specifications, work orders, and customer requirements.
  • Use inspection and measuring tools to verify product quality.
  • Read and convert measurements including decimals, fractions, angles, radiuses, mils, surface finishes, and gauged materials.
  • Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming parts.
  • Work with production, engineering, management, customers, and auditors to resolve quality issues.
  • Support continual improvement efforts using quality tools such as PDCA, SPC, Pareto charts, cause and effect analysis, and flowcharts.
