About The Position

Slide Insurance is seeking a Quality Analyst Manager to join their fun, innovation-driven culture. This role involves managing QA capacity, priorities, and delivery commitments, leading and developing Quality Analysts, and overseeing testing and quality assurance processes. The manager will ensure adherence to enterprise testing standards, monitor testing progress and defect trends, and lead defect prioritization and resolution. Collaboration with Product, Engineering, Project Management, and business teams is key, as is implementing enhancements to testing processes and tools. Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• 5+ years of software quality assurance or testing experience in insurance, technology, financial services, or another regulated industry
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams, priorities, and performance
• Software testing or quality assurance certification required
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing tools, defect management, release controls, and the software development lifecycle
• Experience managing testing against quality standards, audit requirements, internal controls, and release milestones
• Proven ability to analyze quality metrics, defects, business risk, and customer impact to drive informed decisions
• Strong communication, coaching, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, business, insurance, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage QA capacity, priorities, assignments, and delivery commitments across an assigned portfolio
• Lead and develop Quality Analysts through coaching, training, feedback, and performance management
• Review and approve test strategies, coverage, traceability, results, and supporting documentation
• Provide release-readiness recommendations and escalate risks when needed
• Apply enterprise testing standards, methodologies, and controls across projects
• Monitor testing progress, defect trends, quality metrics, and resource utilization
• Lead defect prioritization, escalation, and resolution activities across business and technology teams
• Ensure testing records and documentation meet audit, compliance, and internal control requirements
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Project Management, and business teams on testing scope, acceptance criteria, and release planning
• Implement enhancements to testing processes, tools, and automation practices
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, team effectiveness, and delivery outcomes
