About The Position

Leidos is seeking a talented and skilled Quality Analyst to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. The company is involved in multiple contracts to provide hardware and systems for high energy weapons, launchers, Hypersonics, and target surrogates for several DoD customers. The Quality Analyst will support mechanical manufacturing and assembly integration and testing for aerospace and defense manufacturing. The role involves analyzing program QA requirements, generating ballooned drawings and AS9102 Inspection forms from SolidWorks inspection, finalizing source inspection checklists, and completing end item data packs for machined hardware. The position also requires working with DCMA and other government quality assurance agencies, collecting and reporting Quality Metrics, and performing in a collaborative engineering environment with multi-disciplinary teams.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 system or equivalent experience in DOD, Aerospace, or Automotive manufacturing quality control.
  • Experience working with non-conforming material & identifying root cause and implementing corrective action.
  • Experience writing work instructions, procedures, and implementing QMS documentation associated with AS9100.
  • Experience preparing AS9102 FAI’s and PPAP documentation.
  • Experience using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook).
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PowerBi.
  • Experience with GD&T Blue Print Reading.
  • Experience working with CMMs and manual measuring instruments.
  • Experience working in cross functional teams.
  • Experience with CNC Machining.

Responsibilities
