About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Quality Analyst II with strong experience in metrology and inspection techniques to join our quality assurance team. This role requires hands-on use of precision measurement tools and CMMs, as well as the ability to interpret results and ensure product compliance.
Requirements
- 3- 5 years of experience in a quality or related field.
- Strong working knowledge of metrology and measurement techniques.
- Experience with inspection tools and GD&T.
- Familiarity with AS9102 FAI requirements.
Nice To Haves
- CMM programming or editing experience is a plus.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections using precision measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, optical comparators, etc.)
- Independently conduct inspections with minimal supervision.
- Interpret and apply GD&T to inspection activities.
- Operate and interpret results from Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
- Make minor edits to CMM programs as needed.
- Conduct AS9102 First Article Inspections (FAIs) and complete related documentation.
- Document non-conforming product in accordance with company directives.
- Summarize quality control data and report results to management.
- Support a culture of safety and quality excellence.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
