This role requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree. If assessing the competency of others, a Bachelor's Degree in chemical, physical, or biological science is required. A preferred certification is a current California license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist. Licensure and experience have been validated and deemed qualified under the guidelines of the State of California and CLIA to perform clinical laboratory tests and examinations classified as waived, moderate, or high complexity as described under CLIA. Technical requirements include intermediate MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills, along with a working knowledge of information systems. Advanced MS Excel skills and Visio are preferred. The role demands the ability to work effectively with individuals across multiple divisions, including management. The employee must communicate effectively, produce written reports, and give oral presentations. The position requires an individual who is self-directed, detail-oriented, and capable of adopting a flexible approach to shifting priorities, as well as managing multiple projects.
