About The Position

The Qualified Supervising Professional (QSP) reports to the Operations Director and will collaborate closely with the Center Leader and Senior BCBAs. This role is responsible for ensuring sound clinical practices, assessing potential clients for center services, and overseeing the clinical work for Minnesota Medicaid clients. The QSP will conduct quality assurance checks, case reviews, and manage clients within the EIDBI program, ensuring compliance with all EIDBI policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Be employed by an EIDBI provider agency.
  • Be a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst).
  • Have at least 2,000 hours of clinical experience and/or training in the examination and/or treatment of people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or a related condition, OR have completed the equivalent in graduate-level coursework at an accredited university.
  • Coursework must be documented in one or more of the following areas: ASD or a related condition diagnostics, ASD or a related condition treatment strategies, or child development.
  • Be able to provide treatment within their scope of practice and license.
  • Experience or training must be in person and can be completed in settings such as schools or clinical treatment settings.
  • Graduate-level coursework must be completed through an accredited university or college.
  • One credit of completed coursework is equivalent to 45 hours of time.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or training hours providing treatment and/or examination of people with ASD or related conditions must make up at least 50% of the total required amount of experience (i.e., 1,000 hours).
  • Coursework can count toward the remaining 50% (i.e., the other 1,000 hours).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality management of the Minnesota Medicaid contract by completing EIDBI - Clinical supervision, contract training, and communicating contract changes to the center leader and senior BCBA.
  • Manage necessary Medicaid paperwork and review all treatment plans to ensure appropriateness and effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular reviews of client notes, assessments, tracking, and other client documents.
  • Lead monthly team meetings for Minnesota Medicaid clients to review client-specific challenges, intervention performance metrics, requested hours, and audit findings.
  • Assist the Center Leader in addressing parent concerns regarding the quality of care.
  • Attend senior BCBA meetings.
  • Perform other assessment duties as assigned.
