The Qualified Professional (QP) plays a vital role in coordinating care, providing direct interventions, and developing individualized service plans for individuals with mental health and/or substance use needs. This position works closely with the Clinical Director or a designated supervisor to ensure services meet Medicaid standards and reflect best practices in behavioral health.
Requirements
- Meet North Carolina Qualified Professional (QP) standards for MH/SUD
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a human services field
- Have experience with treatment planning and clinical documentation
- Understand Medicaid service standards
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Demonstrate compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to person‑centered care
Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain Person‑Centered Plans (PCPs)
- Provide direct interventions, skill‑building, and supportive services
- Coordinate referrals, community resources, and care transitions
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant documentation
- Participate in treatment team meetings, clinical reviews, and supervision
- Monitor individual progress and adjust service strategies as needed
