About The Position
Community Support Team (CST) services are provided to adults with Mental Illness and Substance Use needs who have complex treatment needs, enabling them to live in the community. CST is an intensive community-based rehabilitation team service that offers direct treatment and restorative interventions, along with case management. The goal of CST is to achieve symptom stability by reducing psychiatric or substance use disorder symptoms, provide restorative interventions for developing interpersonal, community, coping, and independent living skills, offer psychoeducation, provide first responder intervention to deescalate a crisis, and ensure service coordination and linkage to community services and resources.
Requirements
- A valid LCAS/LCAS-A, CADC, or CCS.
- Two years of experience working directly with adults with SUD.
- Bachelor's degree (Required)
- Substance Use Certification (Required)
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of experience with adult MH.
- 1 year of experience with community based MH.
- 1 year of experience with Adult Substance Use Treatment.
Responsibilities
- Provide Community Support Team (CST) services to adults with Mental Illness and Substance Use needs.
