About The Position
At Easterseals PORT Health, we’re seeking a compassionate and dedicated full-time Qualified Professional to join our team in Elizabeth City, NC. As a valued member of our collaborative and supportive team, you will work together to transform the lives of individuals seeking assistance for substance-use.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of different therapeutic approaches and group techniques as well as their practical application.
- Top-tier communication and documentation skills.
- Adept at problem solving and de-escalation in times of crisis.
- Full or provisional Substance Use licensure or certification: LCAS, CCS, CADC
- Maintain valid state appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work.
- Must be able to work independently, have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in SAIOP & SACOT group therapy facilitation preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate individualized needs in conjunction with their full care team.
- Complete screenings and intakes for new patients.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments.
- Develop treatment plans to work toward positive outcomes.
- Coordinate follow-up care.
- Provide referrals to other services as needed.
- Lead group sessions throughout the week.
