This job will require being the QP for 2 locations Roanoke Rapids and Stantonsburg. LIFE, Inc. does provide travel compensation. The role involves serving as a primary advocate for assigned consumers, ensuring monitoring functions are completed, assisting in abuse/neglect investigations, and managing guardianship processes for clients over 18. The position also requires representing LIFE, Inc. in advocacy groups, participating in various committee meetings, and chairing the Interdisciplinary Team. Maintaining contact with external agencies, completing Habilitation Plans and assessments, and ensuring consumers receive necessary services are key duties. The role includes entering program reviews and progress notes, assuring compliance with regulations, and managing payroll functions for habilitation staff. Additionally, the QPI will interview and hire Habilitation Associates, participate in the administrative on-call schedule, issue disciplinary actions, and oversee staff scheduling to maintain appropriate ratios. The QPI is responsible for ensuring staff receive necessary training, supervising habilitation staff, monitoring consumer data, completing monthly Home Inspection Reports, and managing budgetary costs. Resolving issues with Habilitation Coordinators and Associates, and coordinating services with consultants are also part of the responsibilities.
